We first meet through a mutual friend, and who knew we also lived on the same street for years. That friend is KD, a old friend of mine but a new friend of Bernie's. He saw me walking out of my house one day and he told his freind KD that I was beautiful and he wish he knew me. Well little did he know KD did. So I was walking in the mall one day and I sa KD who I havn't seen in atleast 3 years and he told me that his best friend who is like a brother to him saw me a while back and wanted to give my number to him. I said that's fine we can all hang out one day and see if he's right for me or not. Well I went home and looked him up in the year book and thought he was adorable. He didn't call for a few days and i was getting impatient. I looked his number up i nthe phone book and here we are!
We have decided to hold our wedding in the state we reside now since we love it so much. It will be held in Moncks Corner, SC at the Stoney Landing House. It is surrounded by the Ashley River and is just gorgeous. We are having a beach theme since it is on the coast. It will be an informal wedding so wear your flips. We are having the ceremony start at 3:00pm on Saturday, September 2, 2006. It will be catered by Stickey Fingers since that is Bernie and I's favorite place to eat but beware it is very messy.
The reception and wedding will be held at the same place. It will end whenever no set time. The menu will include: ribs, chicken, pulled pork BBQ, texas toast, buns, baked beans, southern style rice, salad, cookies, fudge brownies, savannah style spinach dip and chips, potato skins, lemonade, and the traditional southern style sweet tea. You northerners will love it i gaurentee.
We will be about 30 minutes from the beautiful Charleston area where we plan to go after the wedding for the night. The weather will be beautiful probably high 80'sow 90's. There is lodgeing all around.
We are so excited about sharing this very special day with everyone that we love. Thank you for visiting our website.
