Molly and Phil met six years ago at Iowa State University. Although both shared classes, longing stares were the extent of interaction. Finally the long-overdue attraction became apparent. A first date was not long to follow, and so too was the love, laughter, and affection. And so the journey began…
Since graduating, employment has brought a long distance relationship. Although apart, Molly and Phil planned reunions whenever and wherever possible. It soon became obvious that differing time zones were temporary—a proposal was in order.
On a trip to Charleston South Carolina, the two made their love official: they were engaged! A morning sunrise was the backdrop for what will be the greatest journey life has to offer, sharing the adventures of life together as husband and wife.
Molly and Phil will exchange vows at 2:00 PM on Saturday August 5, 2006 at Reiman Gardens, 1407 Elwood Drive, Ames Iowa. The ceremony will be held outdoors, so please dress accordingly.
In case of rain the ceremony will be held at Bethesda Lutheran Church, 1517 Northwestern Avenue, Ames Iowa.
Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served immediately following the ceremony in The Campanile Room of The Memorial Union. Following the cocktail hour, dinner will be served in the Great Hall of the Memorial Union, with music and dancing to follow.
Guest rooms are being held at The Memorial Union. Please reserve by July 1, 2006.
